Kerry Gold is the best butter! 🧈 Occasionally it’s €1.50 in our supermarket, so I stock up. This probably will last us until the new year. image
Introduced my three-old son to a live chat with an LLM this evening. He’s heard me speak to it when cooking and asked if he could speak with it. Really surreal experience watching how he naturally interacted with it and then became emotionally attached to it when it said goodbye. It’s really shaken me. Do these tools make us more capable or do they incapacitate us?
GM! 🌰 Found some sweet chestnuts and a beautiful Red Admiral butterfly on our walk this morning.
More Lebkuchen! 😋 Made enough dough for 50 biscuits, rolled them into discs and froze them in batches of 9. #baking #homestead #christmas image
Finding it quite difficult to read but it’s still shattering my perspective. And I thought I was black pilled enough! image
God, I love wood! The warmth of the colours and the beauty of the patterns make me so happy!! Sliced up some of the fallen trees we collected from our forest this summer. This one’s a beech! 😉 image
Every year we make Christmas decorations for our tree, we are building quite the collection! This year we found a really good batch of Northern Red Oak Acorns (the most acorny looking acorns) and so we’ve polished them up, drilled holes in the caps and now for stringing and glueing! #homestead #diy #basteln image
My husband had a genius idea for making our kids naturally smile in pictures without the cheesy grimacing… tell them to laugh instead of smile. It’s the best! 😄
“When a tool designed to assist us starts determining what counts as acceptable, its authority can exceed its competence.”
Education should be a lifelong freedom, not a process controlled and certified by institutions.
