Yesterday I had the pleasure to attend workshop “Build A Backup That Survives” by @Max
He told a compelling story of how privacy decisions create real-life consequences — showing through a clear chain of cause and effect how everything impacts each other: starting with mobile privacy (Android/iOS attack surface vs GrapheneOS), moving to desktop security (Linux vs Windows), then the need for Password Managers, CoinJoiners, and a solid Cold + Hot wallet + Node setup — all tied back to why No-KYC Bitcoin matters so much and how dangerous KYC’d Bitcoin can be.
Oh, and Password Managers… I never realized how many questions people have about how they actually work. Feels like if they don’t fully understand the technology, they become afraid to use it or trust it — so they just avoid it.
It’s fantastic to have event like this in Ireland🇮🇪 — place where people can come together, exchange real experiences, learn from each other, and even make great friends.
