On this day in 1989, nearly two million people across Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania joined hands to form a 600 kilometer human chain. This peaceful demonstration, known as the Baltic Way, united the three nations in a powerful call for freedom, independence, and the end of communist rule. image

Just walked past my young kids and their cousin playing an epic game of Monopoly. Observed quietly for 5 minutes. They've created their own derivative products to hedge against some of the game's rules and are trading them on a secondary market. None of them know what a derivative or a hedge is.
