The fact that greed is holding the human race back from maximizing it's potential is such a shame.

I listen to a lot of english content and I even speak with americans and can understand everything that they say, but when I watch an american movie I simply can't understand what they are talking about, so I usually need to download a subtitles file.

It feels like people don't want to move to United States because it is the best country, they want to go there because their country sucks more. If you ask why they are going to United States, they will say things like "better security", "things are cheaper", "more opportunities", "less regulations", "freedom of speech", etc... All of these things are simple, yet, 90% of countries don't have that, even though we as humanity have the best technologies at our hands. Of course, it never was a technology problem. The problem seem to be a spiritual one. The "system" is not the problem, it's the effect. The cause is the lack of awareness of most people. Awareness in all senses. What I personally do in such a situation is to get better, know myself more, help people who want help and hope someday humanity will have a truly golden age. Golden in spirit and in matter.
If you pay rent, you don't own the land. If you pay government rent (property taxes), then you also don't own the land. Maybe this always happened and always will, but there's no such a thing as a "guarantee" and "owning physical stuff", the only thing you really own is your mind.

Be the change you want to see in the world, don't bother watching what others are doing.
Perhaps perfectionism has more negatives than positives
