The fundamental issue with “this cycle” was expectations. In Q1 2025, everyone believed Q4 2025 was going to bring the historical blow-off top. Now here we are in 2026, and nobody knows what will happen (including the heavyweights). This kind of uncertainty was the norm back in the day, and I think it was necessary for Bitcoin’s parabolic rises of the past. If the majority don’t know what will happen, that’s a good thing. That’s your edge. Embrace the unknown and you will thrive.

The most evil thing about fiat is that it makes most people think capitalism failed them when in reality it was socialism in disguise.

I totally fell for the marketing and bought the new iPhone 17 pro max in orange. No regrets there. But it will sit in my cabinet for a week or two while I dread the process of having to transfer everything over. Computer transfers are even worse, haven’t upgraded mine in half a decade precisely to avoid the process. Maybe next year?
