Today marks the 4 year anniversary from my very first bitcoin purchase. It’s incredible to see how much bitcoin has changed who I am as a person over the last for years. The journey is long and difficult but like all things in life you get out of it what you put in. As always, stay humble and stack sats my friends.
Bitcoin companies can go fuck themselves. I’ve been actively trying to work at a bitcoin company as an accountant at any level. I’ve yet to receive an interview even though I’ve went as far to DM the recruiters and explained my case. Honestly it doesn’t make sense. Especially since I’m applying for entry level jobs and I’m currently a director of finance of a multi national corporation with over a 15 years of experience in banking & public accounting. I’m out here trying to work for passion since I no longer need to work and I can’t even get a look in.
@walker What’s that fantasy book series that you were reading. I seen you post something a long ways back about it. I was interested at the time but never wrote down the title.
My main problem with living on a bitcoin standard is that I need the exterior of my house painted and I also need a new garage door but the only way to pay for larger purchases is to sell bitcoin.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that all of my favourite bitcoiners are on nostr. I’ve been Twitter free for over a year and I’m not missing out on anyone I enjoyed following over there because they are all here.
The US federal government not purchasing Bitcoin to fund the strategic reserve is the best possible scenario for bitcoins continued distribution globally.
