Let's eat nostr peeps, I made an "absolutely-not-burned-sandwich-it-is-actually-chocolate-topping sandwich" 🔥 okay... I lied... it is a burnt sandwich. But it is still quite delicious actually. Slight bitter at first bite but it gets better as you eat more. I swear ✋😅 The timer of the oven toaster got stuck so it kept on heating the sandwich and I only noticed the "something's burning" smell in the air bit too late. 😅

I found this empty shell of a cicada while trimming my basil plants.. These insects literally take the phrase "break out of your shell" 🤣 What I love about these insects is how they spend most of thier life underground, just eating saps and nutrients from the roots of the plants for many years. Then they emerge from under the ground and break out of their shell, get wings, fly, and scream that they want to mate. They make these loud noise that can be heard from miles away. They only live for few days but they get off with a bang.😅 Just really amazing🍻
