A real floating city could appear in just 4 years
Freedom Ship is a giant vessel about 1.5 km long. It is designed to accommodate roughly 80,000 people.
Inside, the plan is to include schools, shops, banks, restaurants, and even a 15,000-seat stadium.
The idea is that the ship would not dock in ports. It would remain in international waters and change its route every few years.
Access would be via boats and helicopters.
The project is estimated to cost around $16 billion. It is claimed that the floating city would run on nuclear power.
