Happy Palm Sunday #christr

I’m really enjoying having only essential apps on my phone (text, call, email, podcast/music, Bible App, banking/bitcoin apps) and everything else on my iPad (NOSTR client, YouTube, news apps, etc). I get a quick download of the news for the day in the evening and when I have my morning coffee. Throughout the day I don’t get spammed with information. You don’t need to be constantly tapped in. Feels good. Unplug.

We need to be dumbing down our personal devices. A phone doesn’t need half the power/features it has. Make them dumber so you pick them up less often. The budget model iPhone/Pixel is more than sufficient.

Checking back in. Feels good to be off NOSTR. First few days were difficult but it’s so easy now. Reminds me of when I quit Twitter. Maybe I’ll keep NOSTR solely on my iPad so I’m not constantly checking my phone. It’s nice not to be plugged in all the time. View quoted note →
