A week from tomorrow is my two year anniversary with my long-distance fiance... I think I'm going to cry, I'm so happy... Cryptobros joining nostr does worry me. I suppose it's inevitable that they'd take it as web3 and flood the system, but my concern is that, if they arrive before the normies, that nostr's popularity in their ranks will drive normies away. As someone who hated crypto from a normie pov BEFORE a Bitcoin pov, I know that the presence of crypto in any space immediately invalidates and poisons it for a lot of people. Will people see crypto on nostr and think "oh, it's just like that stupid NFT fad" or "oh, remember Cryptoland?" I couldn't give less of a damn about cryptobros joining nostr. Nostr is for everyone. BUT, I wonder what the repercussions will be, in terms of optics alone?
