Just opened my guitar case for the first time in over 4 months... I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that the A string snapped 😅 But guess I'm borrowing my dad's guitar until I can get to a shop 🙄

Wealth and power are very similar. When you have money, it's easy to invest, build, educate yourself, and work to make more. When you don't, you're limited to working at jobs that generally pay less in the first place. Power is similar. You're in power, meet others in power, put your fingers in more pies, and get more influence. Those without power and influence are generally looked down on, decreasing it even more. Wealth and power also go together, so it's a spiral, up or down. The issue is how to break the cycle.

Saving fiat is painful. It's a wicked necessity if you have large expenses coming up. But it hurts knowing that the value of the money you worked so hard to earn is just decaying in some hole somewhere. All while some rich prick gambles with its current value. And your only protection from their carelessness is a wildly dysfunctional government that consistently plays with going back on it's word. Lose it bit by bit through inflation, all for the pleasure of losing it in a lump sum due to the incompetence and lack of care from some banker. Disgusting.

It's frustrating to know that you have to hoard your fiat like a squirrel with his nuts, just so you can move and find a better life, when you'd so much rather be stacking sats.
