Just here to #grownostr through #poetry , #erotica , general #literature , #pagan pride, and #kink
Turns out a supplement I'm taking for sleep MASSIVELY fucks with me and I can't be on it Turns out that, even the first night of not taking it, my sleep is back to shit ๐Ÿ™„
I talk about Bitcoin too much these days; I've fallen a bit down the rabbit hole ๐Ÿ˜… But back to doing my part to #grownostr : Advent candles and Christmas trees!
GM dear plebs Take advantage of every opportunity today. Make yourself proud โค๏ธ
*tsk* Bitcoin is a slippery slope. One minute I'm looking up ways to securely transfer funds, the next I'm finding articles on sex work and getting tempted back into findom ๐Ÿ™„
Taking a tech break, returning to the grandma hobbies for the evening ๐Ÿ˜‡
Because this worked so well for me before, I'm going to #asknostr again: Where is the best place to buy sats before transferring them to a hardware wallet? Looking for opinions to assist my #bitcoin journey โค๏ธ
My mom has Dutch shoes From Holland Therefore They are not Dutch They are Hollandaise
Once upon a time, to pick up at an Amazon locker, you just got a QR or scan code and it would open for you. NOW you need to have location services, Bluetooth, AND nearby device permissions all on. For what reason? Mad sus. Only turning them on for the pickup, then I'm never choosing this delivery option again. It's just creepy.
Shout-out to all my goofy little queers, skirting approval from the Vatican image
The fear of #bitcoin reminds me of a guard dog: Imagine you'e never seen a dog before. You're walking down the street alone. Someone comes up to you, and you (not perceiving a threat) greet them. The person reaches for their pocket, presumably to give you something. Before the person can hurt you, a furry, muscular, toothy beast comes along and attacks them. The dog just saved you. Maybe you know that, maybe you don't. But when you see the blood dripping from its jaws, all you know is that it's dangerous to SOMEONE. And that someone could be you. In this analogy, the stranger is the powers that be. They seem harmless, they're familiar, and people may never know the threat that they pose. The dog (Bitcoin) is a savior. But if you don't understand it, all you'll see is that SOMEONE is likely to get hurt, and you'll never understand whether or not you're also in the line of fire. This is why education is important. You can't force someone with a fear of getting bit to adopt a rottie. But you can let them pet it. You can slowly familiarize them with it. And then, if your Rottweiler attacks an intruder, your friend won't fear it, but instead understand even better why you bought the dog in the first place. Maybe, then, they'll be ready.
What a useless little game; where an employer should send their workers home for everyone's safety, but insists they work instead so the employer doesn't have to pay them for the day off. Capitalism isn't always bad, but fucking hell it sucks the soul out of some people ๐Ÿ™„
Just had a conversation with my husband on Bitcoin. He doesn't like that I WILL be investing, because he's never been into Bitcoin, but at least he won't fight me on it โค๏ธ And some day, I'll get to say "I told you so" ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
Okay, after a lot of thought, I think I may want to go the coldcard route for my #bitcoin hardware wallet... But I can't find when the Q will be released? It looks like it'd be a little better for me, but I don't want to put in a reservation and be waiting 3 years ๐Ÿ˜… Any ideas/feelings on Q vs Mk4? Worth the wait? Or am I overthinking this and I should just take the plunge ๐Ÿ˜… #asknostr
