Interesting discussion between probably two of my favourite Bitcoiners to listen to - @Jeff Booth & @Simon Dixon It wasn't as confrontational as the title suggest but they didn't seem to agree on if hyper bitcoinisation would be a total victory for Bitcoin (Jeff) or more of a 80/20 kinda split (Simon). Currently I'm leaning towards Simon's perspective. - I think for many being self sovereign, managing their own keys etc will seem like too much responsibility. Maybe there will be some clever technical solutions in the future.. Most importantly though is what they do agree on - Bitcoiners with their stack in self custody, cold storage & supporting local circular economics are going to kick ass 💪 If you are a Bitcoiner use your Bitcoin as a medium of exchange. I am thankful to be on a similar path to this lady. I recently decided to stop hanging out with one work colleague (we used to always grab lunch together) but I just got sick to death of his negativity. I tried my best to orange pill him for the past year but he's still fucking around with his stocks. We both absolutely hate our fiat jobs but I now spend my lunchtimes alone eating good food and reading books on Bitcoin, Nutrition, Health, anything really that improves my life. It's made more awkward that we sit next to each other and he's formed a new friendship with the other guy in our bay. It feels like they sometimes resort to similar tactics to break my willpower.
