I listen to people comment about how a certain demographic wont “get” bitcoin and prefer gold. This may be true for some. My mom who is 63 started listening to podcasts I would send her. After a few months she jumped in. She attended the BTC conference with me last year and we will be going again this year. Your parents are never too old to learn but it will require more patience and persistence….still working on my dad.

Being in the class of 2020 I’m back over my cost basis. I know what it feels like to HODL through a 70% drawdown but I haven’t experienced what it feels like to HODL through 300%+ appreciation (assuming we get to 100k at some point). I’m ready for it! ⚡️ Oh, and I’m not selling, coins are locked up for the kiddos 🙏🏼

Good morning everyone 🙏🏼 I’ve been discussing bitcoin at work for a few years (class of 2020). Many dismissed or didn’t care but now some co-workers are starting to stop by to talk bitcoin since price is running a little bit 👀. The first thing I do is hand them the kids book “bitcoin money”. This helps set a basis for discussion. Number go up gets them in, hopefully many will do the work and realize what this revolution is about ⚡️.

When someone asks can’t someone change the code and increase the 21M supply I show them this. You can certainly change the code but it won’t be accepted by the network. This $1 bill will not be be accepted in the dollar network as a $100.

Does anyone have a good resource for BTC balance on exchanges? Curious is this price action is resulting in 1) net inflows (trying to capitalize on gains) 2) net outflows (storing something scarce no matter than short term price action) 3) no change 🙏🏼

When a family members buys bitcoin because you are deep down the rabbit hole but they have no desire to do the work and learn about it, do you feel responsible for their gains/losses? (Losses more than gains because they will more than likely not be able to stomach the volatility) Soliciting all feedback :)
