To any beginners out there who need to hear this, coming from a fellow beginner: Yes, it is worth learning about the protocol and the fundamentals of Bitcoin. From running a node, to understanding what a UTXO is, to what layer one and layer two are, to even lower level things like understanding what causes hard forks or consensus changes among nodes. These are all worth learning, especially if you think your future is at least somewhat made up of this technology. There’s seem to be no other off ramps or life rafts for the sinking ship we are all currently on. It’s going to be difficult, you’re going to likely feel small at times, keep going though. You’re worth it, your future is worth it, your entire life is worth it. Keep going.
