Pod256 just keeps getting better and better with the addition of Tyler to the crew. Every recording is now densely packed with insane amount of knowledge and information related to mining. This is currently the best Bitcoin mining podcast I know of.

Every week, I await the next recording of the bugle. The presicsion in which dick and rod can distill the broader sentiment of the current Bitcoin culture into potent memes, equips me with the tools I need to continue to strengthen my conviction. Bitcoin has already won and the memes that the bugle are conjuring showcase that.

Listening to this plebchain radio rip about web of trust. No doubt it's incredibly powerful, but something about this discussion has me feeling a cautious about some serious issues with privacy tradeoffs. I'm looking forward to seeing the wot interactions develop and reveal the optimal way to leverage the connections and information while maintaining the ability to keep information private. Maybe there's something to learn from DIDs?

Trying to keep pleb slop away from meetups is the wrong approach. Meetups are where plebs become pioneers. They come to the meetup because the are ready to put in the work. The meetup organizers are there to guide and teach pleb slop literacy. How to recognize and think critically about the pleb slop. To build a local culture that is aware of pleb slop but can consume it for what it is rather than be psyoped, gaslit, and generally mislead or distracted by it.

I have been using Muun wallet as my submarine swap service of choice because there is no minimum amount required for a swap. As max mentioned, it's a bit frustrating because the wallet needs to be empty for the swaps to be effective in maintaining privacy. Because there is no coin control, it's impossible to be sure utxos won't be consolidated when swapping. This means only moving one utxo through the wallet at a time to accomplish change consolidation on a lightning channel. Because there is no send full balance feature, it takes a few tries to get the swap to leave the wallet totally empty. We need more swap services and not just everything using boltz on the back end.

These are the kinds of tools needed for Bitcoin circular economies to thrive. Zues wallet does a great job of the integrate rather than segregate permaculture principle. I think we will be seeing a lot more usage of zeus wallet at Bitcoin meetups. A pioneers Bitcoin wallet.

Earlier this year, I sold some feeder lambs to a local Bitcoiner, every month I spend some of that Bitcoin back to them on beef and other food. How long before more join?

I'm stumbling across a lot of new (to me) Nostriches from people boosting/renoting interesting notes. Is it annoying or helpful to see boosted/renoted notes even if it means the feed has many of the same note repeated? Personally, I want to see more of it. This is how the information is propagated on Nostr, we relay it around to each other.
