BitChat is a peer-to-peer messenger that works entirely offline using Bluetooth and mesh networking. No servers, SIM cards, or internet required. Whether you’re preparing for emergencies, attending protests, or just want a censorship-resistant way to connect, BitChat keeps you talking when everything else goes dark. Ben from @BTC Sessions did a great tutorial on how to use it: image

Lately, I’ve been contemplating whether we might actually live in a simulation. Interestingly, many religious and philosophical texts from around the world seem to hint at that idea. That train of thought led me to rewatch The Truman Show after many years; and a few quotes really stood out: “Why do you think Truman has never come close to discovering the true nature of his world until now?” “We accept the reality of the world with which we’re presented. It’s as simple as that.” “If he were absolutely determined to discover the truth, there’s no way we could prevent him.” “Ultimately, Truman prefers his cell, as you call it.” “You’re afraid. That’s why you can’t leave.” Let’s question what’s real, and what’s merely presented to us as reality. image

Millionaire migration is a thing. Countries should think twice about „taxing the rich“. Good for them, I‘m all about voting with your feet. image

Finally started reading 1984. Horrendous thought of living like that. Hope we can preserve freedom. image

There’s a lot of uncertainty in the market right now. Have we already hit the top and are heading into a bear phase or will the bull run resume after the recent sell-off from long-term HODLers? Interestingly, none of the 30 major market indicators have signaled a cycle top yet. Will they still flash in time, or are the traditional models breaking down? According to Marc Friedrich & Partner, the old indicators may no longer work. That’s why they’ve developed a new approach: bitcointop.de. Instead of trying to predict the exact cycle top, their model focuses on identifying the market’s current condition — whether it’s overheated, overbought, or neutral. It provides an objective snapshot that helps investors better assess risk and make informed decisions. Key values: Bitcoin < 20: This is a great buying opportunity. Bitcoin > 80: Caution! Market is overheating. Bitcoin > 90: Mania, don't buy now! image

I joined a very interesting talk on Tether‘s new AI, QVAC, during the Plan B Conference in Lugano. Gives me hope to stay somewhat self sovereign also in a dystopian future 😉. The QVAC platform introduces a new way to think about artificial intelligence - one that puts control, privacy and autonomy back into the hands of users. Unlike traditional AI systems that rely on centralized cloud servers, QVAC lets AI agents run directly on your device: your phone, laptop, or local hardware. This means: 🔒 More privacy & security Your data stays on your device instead of being sent to big data centers. ⚡ Offline & resilient AI You can use AI even with limited connectivity. 🤝 Peer-to-peer communication Devices talk directly to each other, reducing dependence on any single company or authority. 💰 Built-in payment capabilities QVAC integrates payment systems like USDT and Bitcoin, allowing autonomous agents to transact securely. They also offer specific health and translation apps. Check out more info at

Who else wants to make efficient use of their time and make a phone call or listen to a podcast while walking? This might actually be counterproductive… See the insights of the book The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter 👇. Studies show that a just 20-minute stroll through a park or forest can cause profound changes in the neurological structure of our brain. This leaves us feeling calmer and with sharper and more productive minds. But, they found that people who used their cellphone on the walk saw none of these benefits. The sweet spot seems to be 20 minutes outside, three times a week - the dose of nature that most efficiently dropped people‘s levels of the stress hormone cortisol. image

Book Insights on Boredom 👇 „Tolstoy had this great quote in Anna Karenina that says boredom is a ‚desire for desires‘. So boredom is a motivational state. The hours of attention we are giving to digital media isn‘t free. It‘s all spent in focused mode. Think of this focused state like lifting a weight and the unfocused state like resting. When we kill our boredom by burying our minds in a phone, TV or computer, our brain is putting forth a shocking amount of effort and we overwork it. Our collective lack of boredom may be causing us to reach near-crisis level of mental fatigue. Overworked, undermaintained minds are linked to depression, life dissatisfaction, the perception that life goes by quicker, and increasingly missing the beauty of life that only presents itself when we allow our mind to wander and be aware of something other than a screen.“ From: The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter How are you dealing with boredom? Trying to push it away and be busy or allow your mind to wander? #bookinsights #inspiration #grownostr #somethingelsethanbitcoin
