I propose a NIP to help on board more people to nostr. The NIP should allow a npub who onboards another npub, to get a value split for the lifetime of the onboarded npub. Why are we on boarding people and not getting paid? On boarding doesn't pay the bills! This would encourage more people to take an active role in bringing people into nostr.

Went to an open mic night, did some poetry, listened to some music, was a good time. I like the talent show feel tbh. But it was seriously pretty awesome. I tried to grab some audio, hopefully it came out. Y'all should do more open mics. It's both humbling and exhilarating.

Found this gem at a ham radio flea market this weekend. It's not the 1-877-BIT-LOFI phone, but I can make outgoing calls with it. If you are into electronics at all, you should go to your local ham fests. There is so much cool stuff there. And despite that hams really like talking behind the radio more than in person, they are quite nice. It's also a nice reminder that one day I will die and my wife will be burden with selling all my electronics. However, I'm using this as an insurance policy so she doesn't kill me at the moment.

I think the Amish are the true cypherpunks. This community is completely off line, self sovereign, lives off the land and all that shit that all these bitcoin podcasts say they want. Guys, they don't even have phones that's how much they take their privacy seriously. 🤣 @Derek Ross get the Amish on nostr. We could learn a thing or two from them perhaps.
