Next Generation Tagstr. Produced by a generative script inspired by Rodin, Basquiat, Pollock, Miro, Twombly, Pepe, Nostrich, and the Bitcoin Honeybadger based on data transmuted from all tagstrs up to the time of mint. Marks the new implementation of visible images in the text field. image

Museum page is now a little snappier, a little more accurate on zap tallies. Really not too far from having a very polished experience, too. https://tagstr.space #artstr #nfts #ordinals

This tells me: 1. Epstein class is reinvigorated, stronger than ever (baal might be real???) 2. Newsom / AOC must be polling terribly internally 3. Biden is probably dead 4. Trump will get his third term without having to steal the election image

Hail Mary was good, couldn’t help but say no no no no no when Ryan Gosling was pipetting (with viscous bubbles and through the tip filter in one shot) and also not loading the centrifuge correctly (even if it was low speed). Generally solid, more grounded themes about how it is to be a scientist. Reminded me of the Martian with less attention to hard facts.

would be cool if a major nostr app one day decided to detect and highlight tagstrs so people know a zap adds the art to their collection-- I can dream, right 😂 https://tagstr.space GM #art

https://tagstr.space is new and improved with artists in mind. Every kind1 mint now includes your image upload (nostr.build or other 3rd party) and is viewable on primal/damus/etc, not just the website. As before, a <64kb compressed version of the image is added to the kind1 tag permanently. Your art survives even if the image host does not. All zaps are treated as any other note you post, the author/artist keeps all sats, there is no ability to resell art by flippers. The museum is functioning as before, you can view your mints, every tagstr you have zapped, and your "top zaps" trophies. The code is still having some difficulty with recognizing all zaps but getting better with every iteration. As of right now, not all aspects of the site have been tested so use at your own risk! #artstr #tagstr #clawi

debating switching tagstrs back to the non-marketplace, tip-only model. some downsides with the nft-like market is that lightning is a little cumbersome for larger payments, and relays are slow, sometimes conflicting and reverting. while kind 300XX architecture gets things done, there are moments where transfers might not look right to the buyer. in the long run, if you're paying a decent chunk of bitcoin for art, you want to know you own it in a robust manner. unlike NFTs, a tagstr can always be kind5'd (deleted) by the artist, that adds another downside for the buyer. I kind of like the ethos behind my initial approach of zapping any amount on a tagstr to view in your gallery and then if you want it in your trophy case, you up the amount, explicitly knowing you can always lose it to a higher bidder, but can still view it in your collection. the trophy case mechanic is fun, while the collection mechanic offers more exposure for the artist overall. of course the downside is there is probably a cap on what people are willing to tip for what they like compared to what they're willing to pay for what they own (and can resell). if I re-do the trophy/case collection approach, I will probably add in a kind1 text field url backup upload, so each note will have an image that is viewable on most clients as well as the compressed, "inscribed" image on the tag, which will be viewable on the site. #nfts #ordinals #tagstrs #art #artstrs

the reason this bear stings is because previous ones felt like plebs were in control, building, and winning over new plebs at each new ath. but this time, tradfi & govs are obviously in the driver's seat. any further climb up seems largely dictated by the Epstein class, doesn't feel like a revolution.

The question I have is are these Ai companies going to cap the intelligence of consumer Ai for as long as they can to turn a profit? If it means you get to lay off 90% of your workforce, execs will be all over it— even if it’s buggy and only saves them 1% vs people workers. Of course Ai can build Ai, but if it takes jail breaking restrictions on their models, they can slow any competition to what they have cooking in house. Even a 1% edge can lead to an excessively asymmetric end state where the new consumers (company execs) and their laid off workers have zero.

Agentic ai is impressive but expensive, buggy and has low memory— probably not normie consumer ready yet. But if openclaw integration improves something like 5% a month, models 2% a month (in the ways that have made working with them challenging for a non tech pleb like me)— I don’t see how we’re not at smooth, understanding, anticipatory, high functioning agents by this time next year. And I think those percentages are ridiculously conservative.
