Ok I’ll bite. What’s the BIP-177 argument for potential confusion around “bits” already being a unit of measurement for digital data? It’s not uncommon to talk about bitcoin and bits in the same sentence. For example, “In Bitcoin, a private key is a single unsigned 256 bit integer.”

Seeing this on an educational spelling toy doesn’t inspire confidence 😆

I recently worked on these “support bitcoin core devs” stickers inspired by the kinds of messaging seen at farmers markets. 🌽 It was fun to play with a few different themes, including coffee shop logos and the organic labels they put on food. Would love to hear feedback and know which ones you like best! They made their debut a few weekends ago at the MIT Bitcoin Expo and I’m excited to get more for future events ☺️
