Disagree with this. I think likes are a quick way to show support for a post. And surprisingly enough, even though they are free to give, if you look at the stats on Twitter, people are generally reserved in how often they give them I actually like how Discord has gone beyond “likes” with customized emojis. Makes it more fun 🙃
