COSMIC isn't my cup of tea. My first Linux install was Red Hat in the late '90s, and after more than a decade on Fedora Workstation (GNOME), I switched to Fedora KDE Plasma and haven't looked back. This is a good write-up. "For someone migrating from GNOME, and the disjointed extension ecosystem that comes along with it, it's nice to have so many features permanently fused into the desktop, knowing they won't break with updates."
