Take my money. Commodore just announced a privacy-focused Linux flip phone built on a custom version of Sailfish OS. Signal, Telegram, maps, music, rideshare, and it runs 99% of Android apps—without Android. No social media. No browser. No Google. No email. No AI. It's not a dumb phone. It's a smartphone with boundaries. And somehow they wrapped the whole thing in Commodore nostalgia. This might be the coolest phone I've seen in years.

Found a nest of baby rats in a tote on the porch. Mom bolted when we opened it, so I cleaned out another tote, added some hay, cut a little entrance, and carefully moved the nest about 10–15 feet away so she'd still be able to find her babies by scent. What did you learn today? What about yesterday? Get in the habit of learning something new every day. One of the best decisions I ever made was to turn my commutes into a rolling university. Most people think they don't have time to learn. But between driving, waiting, walking, and all the other little pockets of "dead time," many of us have 2–4 hours a day hiding in plain sight. And that's in addition to any dedicated learning time. That's 700–1,400+ hours a year. Many master's degrees require between 1,300 and 2,700 hours of study and coursework. Think about that. In just a year or two, you can go from curious beginner to genuine expertise. Bruce Lee famously said, "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." And when you learn something new, share it with someone else. Teach it. Apply it. Live it. #IKITAO
