A question for #crypto enthusiasts in #nostr (so, #nostr in general) Are there any solutions (viable or theoretical) proposed for blockchain scalability issues? Aside from centralizing solutions such as L2 networks or pruned nodes supported by full nodes. I'm guessing that a public blockchain such as #Bitcoin could theoretically be consolidated, fully "cleaned" and restarted, right? What about private chains such as #Monero? Were a blockchain to have to support the amount of transactions made by the banking system today, the chain would grow exponentially (not to speak if it completely replaced hard cash transactions as well), and betting all on storage cheapening in my precoiner mind does not cut it, altough I'm open to explanations. #asknostr #cryptocurrency

Would it be possible to create an app (maybe a pre-existing #nostr client) to hold your private keys safely and interface with websites and other apps when you need to sign something? I think this is key to get new, normie users comfortable with the whole Nostr ecosystem. I think I remember reading one such app already exists on #iOS? What about #Android? #grownostr #asknostr
