For the past 9 years I've been trying to orange pill my family. It's been mostly fail after fail. I always gush about proof of work, censorship resistance, Byzantine's general's problem etc. but today I realized I've been doing it wrong. I don't think my family realizes that the central banks are insolvent. I don't think they know the dangers of fractional reserve banking, quantitative easing, and monetary debasement. I need to shut up about Bitcoin and instead talk about the root issues.

I grew up in an environment where there were consequences to expressing myself. Complaints and deviations from the "right path" were not allowed, punishable with spankings.
