Is now the time to buy bitcoin?
People have been asking me if now is the time to buy bitcoin?
I think what they are asking is; Can I make money via investing in bitcoin? They are not asking, can we help other people via using & saving in bitcoin? That is the right question to ask. Most people don’t understand money. Do you?
The seven characteristics of money are:
Durability: Money should be able to withstand wear and tear, and remain in good condition over time.
Portability: Money should be easy to carry and transfer, especially in the case of larger amounts of value.
Divisibility: Money should be easily divisible into smaller units without losing its value.
Uniformity: All units of money should be identical and have the same value.
Limited supply: Money should have a limited supply in order to retain its value and prevent inflation.
Acceptability: Money should be widely accepted as a medium of exchange for goods and services.
Stability: Money should have a relatively stable value over time, without experiencing large fluctuations or volatility.
These characteristics are important for any form of money to be effective as a means of exchange, unit of account, and store of value. The thing that tells me Bitcoin is better than the Canadian dollar as a form of money is point #5 - Limited Supply. Remember I don’t use alt coins. Even the SEC (Security Exchange Commission) has finally sued Richard Heart who promoted alt-coins. Remember your time is limited, so is bitcoin.
The federal reserve can never run out of money. The pizza just get cut into more slices. :)
