Farmers often understand the concept of scarcity better than politicians. My father used to remark on the cyclical nature of cattle farming, when the value of one's herd indicated wealth. Nowadays, wealth is influenced more by technology and access to capital, often obtained through proximity to government. In Canada, the "Arrive Scam app" exemplifies how government connections inflate costs, benefiting insiders. Most Canadians don't anticipate a 1000% wage increase in a year, nor did they expect a 25% surge in the money supply. If printing money incurs no cost, why not print until inflation erodes purchasing power? To get capital you have to get close to the government. In Canada Trudeau has spent more than all previous prime ministers diluting Canada’s currency by 17 times
My profession made me more understanding of metcafe’s law—the value of a network is proportional to the square of the number of connected users or devices in the network. In other words Bitcoin's value depends on, if the person you want to give your service or goods to is willing to accept something other than bitcoin.
You can see from my nostr post that we arrived in California. The first thing that happened was a rock hit my windshield. And we had to stop and get it repaired. The funny thing is, the window repairman asked me 4 times if I could pay in cash. He (and I) did not want to pay the 3.50 US dollars associated with the $40 window repair. The underground economy is alive here in the US. Maybe that is where Trudeau gets his tax and control ideas from.
Don’t let money printing steal your wealth.
