Looking at the Lightning addresses of folks on nostr, it seems the preference is for closed source lightning wallets. Why?

This long Techcrunch article about #[0] Twitter, BlueSky and Mastodon does not even mention Nostr once. Have we isolated ourselves from mainstream tech reporting or are they omitting intentionally? 🤔

Very soon, Bitcoin Beach Wallet users can display their holdings and create Lightning invoices denominated in their fiat currency of choice. We'll keep on removing barriers to using Bitcoin as money and make it easier to start circular bitcoin economies. Already now, users can choose to keep their money either in Bitcoin and/or US Dollars, all while preserving the ability to transact with either instantly over Lightning for unfairly low fees. All that's needed to get started is a phone number for account creation. We've also added the option to verify the phone number via WhatsApp in addition to regular SMS verification. So much building happening right now, and everyone's building with Lightning top of mind. It's a massive upgrade to the internet that's coming. With the next wave of adoption we might be crossing the chasm for bitcoin adoption in many places.
