I thought it would be interesting to look back at Facebook on January 3, 2009 to see what I was up to. I had apparently just gotten a new PC. unfortunately, I didn't immediately start mining Bitcoin with it. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Don't you love when your trying something technical for the first time & it doesn't work for a totally unrelated issue? Wanted to try exporting a watch-only wallet from my ColdCard Q to Nunchuk & it seemed to work, but every one I tried showed no history (which is always a little panic-inducing.) It turned out that despite the5G indicator, my phone basically had no working internet. After I also noticed issues trying to use nostr I rebooted the phone & everything synched up & worked fine.

As a New Year self-reflection, how do people cultivate positive attitudes of happiness & gratitude? That's something that I really struggle with asmy nature send to trend towards negativity, regret, answer, & resentment.

I tested placing a buy through the Bitkey & CashApp integration & OMG it's so easy! it's not the cheapest way in the world, but it's so easy that for the person without the discipline or routine set up to do it it might be the best option. My only real issue with Bitkey is the lack of coin control.

I know this is practically a sin in the Bitcoin world, but I'm not at all entrepreneurial. Having gotten a Bitkey I now plan to get them for all of my family members, but the problem is they all look alike. Someone please make some Bitkey Bumpers. A simple silicon or similar bands to stretch around it that comes in various colors would suffice. Until then, I might just try a rubber band or maybe printing something from TPU (or is there a better material.)

I'm trying to watch the first episode of Dexter: Original Sin, but finding it really hard. It's like watching a bunch of cosplayers.

I decided to take advantage of the low fees & go ahead & set up my Bitkey & migrate over my hot wallet funds. Unbelievably simply. Also, now that I've gotten further into the app I'm very pleased to see options for custom Electrum server & UTXO consolidation. It's definitely going to be my self-custodial solution recommendation for new people going forward. Great job @jack!

I got tired of not being able to really zap people so I finally capitulated & set up the Primal wallet though I hate that it asks for personal information.
