And that’s what the kids said about their parents, who came home from WWII. Boring. Well, they had just come back from hell. And they went on to become known as the Greatest Generation. If Bitcoin is boring, that because it’s being compared to this fiat disaster, aka hell. I’m looking forward to be called the Greatest Generation 2.0 View quoted note →

Why does iOS not recognize Damus or Primal as apps that you can share content to? image

I don’t understand why Georgia, USA runs the power lines above ground. The sheer cost of maintaining the trees alongside the power lines, combined with the risk of trees damaging the lines n storms, just makes no sense. Why not run them underground? Cities in third world countries can do it. And it certainly is an eyesore. image

I recently read an article by an economist calling himself a ‘real Keynesian’. This apparently means that you should print money to kick start a sluggish economy, but then you must pay it back when times are good. So my question is this: if you kick start an economy by printing money, and then when the economy is booming you remove the printed money, do you not then put the economy back where it was before? It sounds like a boost on false pretenses will not be sustained if the money is withdrawn. Am I missing something here? Any economists around that can help me with this? @Lyn Alden

It’s not clear to me what LGBT and the Last Supper have to do with the Olympic Games. This is obviously meticulously planned, funded, and approved by the IOC. The purposes of the modern olympic games Based on the official Olympic Charter and various sources, the purposes of the modern Olympic Games can be summarized as follows: Promoting Peace and International Understanding: The Olympic Games aim to bring nations together through sports, fostering respect, tolerance, and cooperation among countries and cultures. Harmonious Development of Humankind: The Olympic Movement seeks to promote a balanced development of the body, personality, and mind through sport, education, and culture. Social Responsibility: The IOC encourages the values of Olympism to be practiced in society, emphasizing the importance of social responsibility, respect for universal fundamental ethical principles, and the preservation of human dignity. Gender Equality: The Olympic Movement prioritizes gender equality, striving to increase access to sport for female athletes and promote women’s participation in sports administration and management. Cultural Exchange and Education: The Games aim to blend sport with culture and education, promoting mutual understanding and respect among nations through the celebration of their diverse heritages. Unifying the World through Sport: The Olympic Games provide a platform for athletes from around the world to come together, compete, and celebrate their shared humanity, transcending national and cultural boundaries. Whoever got this so horribly wrong, and used this event to antagonize and offend the Christian people of the world, needs to apologize and then resign. image

So I have to watch Tour de France highlights, from Peacock, on YouTube. And not on the Peacock app. 2nd or 3rd time I’ve had to do this. Lost control of your app, Peacock?

Watching my first Tour de France while in the US. Strange to hear American commentators and not the usual British commentators. But actually really enjoying the change. Great job Peacock

@Robert Breedlove Hi Robert. Love your show, it’s one of my top 3 BTC podcast. I struggled with your recent chat with Mike Brock. He started off saying that you mustn’t get distracted by the nuance of the word, but rather the message it conveys. And then went on to not be able to answer a single question or complete a point he was trying to make because he was getting tied up over the specific meaning of the words. I tried to listen to see what I could learn but came away with nothing. Probably the first time I’ve had this experience on your show. Always love your guests and have learned more than I can tell you from your show.
