I've spotted Boujee hunting in the backyard and neighbors' yards fairly regularly and the last couple times noticed she's dropped some of her juvenile tail feathers so she's definitely molting finally. Found this today while cutting the grass.... think it's a pretty safe bet it came from her. Very cool. Beautiful day today and the next few days are looking decent so decided today was perfect to release Boujee back to the wild. We had a frustrating season as the only thing she killed were voles but I did learn a lot from her and have some ideas of things I plan on tweaking with my next hawk. Fly free Boujee-bird!
