If I write a long-form post on habla.news, will it show up on other clients if the other clients have a post character limit that is less than the length of the article?
If it does show up, does only the first maximum set of characters display based the client's maximum post display length?

Life is better on the road and the page.
My contract ended yesterday. Many have asked if I plan on looking for a job.
No.
For the first time in my life, I get to work on my personal projects, skills, and financial goals without the typical requirements of a person on a standard W-2 work arrangement, even if it is a contract.
And I'm guarding this time carefully.
It hasn't been even 24 hours, and already, much of my stress has lifted. I feel three times more creative than I did yesterday, and there's a little more color in my cheeks.
I'm still busy, and there's still pressure, but it's different now that it's on my terms.
I've worked hard to gain this space.
Within one year, I plan on:
- Finishing my website(s) overhauls and recreating them on decentralized technology as a backup
- Have a minimum of one source of solid income stream (but in reality, there are two)
- Lost weight and become physically fit
- Finishing learning about Islamic marriage contracts
- Read Arabic smoothly
- Finishing writing both books
- Publishing regular bulletins to The Stealthy Scribbler Society
- Learning all about Bitcoin and Nostr technology
- Extracting all the knowledge I can from my current business mentors for my library
Toward the end of this period, I will reevaluate and decide whether I want to return to a typical W-2 arrangement.
If I fail at my efforts, I have backup plans in place.
Tomorrow is a hope and never a guarantee. Today is all we have to make as much of a positive impact in our lives as possible and in the lives of those around us.
Let's make the most of it. ๐There's nothing to watch on social media anymore.
I have the choice between Office Space and Jaws.
Jaws it is.
Someone might want to look into Clippy's whereabouts.
Between CrowdStrike and Microsoft Azure, I have my suspicions.

All the fruit I got started to get a little ripe. Chopped it all up and put it in the instant pot: apples, peaches, plums with cinnamon.
Now I'm going to try and make some flatbread.
Then I'll get back to website changes.
I don't want AI spontaneously generating and synthesizing content on the fly for me.
Bring back CBs and pirate radio. Combine them with the internet.
Oh, wait. #Nostr already did that.
Don't ever come to me and say you have nothing to do.
Ever.
I'm a #mom and grandma.
I have plenty of things for you to do.
5-6 shots fired SE of my location.
Chickens.
Do that where people can see you. Let us catch you one time on tape cowards.
The neighbors are sick of it.
More and more of us are getting cameras because we're done.
This is Texas, fool.
Your time is short.
You guys are such a bad influence.
Surfing and exploring #Nostr is like taking me to an electronics store and telling me I can play with all this new tech I wish people had but never knew existed.
So many rabbit holes.
Do you have any idea how many new tabs I have open just because now I need to check out or read about such-and-such?
More coffee. โ๏ธ
I spent rainy days lost in novels, thinking the world would stay the same forever. Now, I take deliberate daily action for a better future.

I can't believe how programmed I am to hit the like button/icon.
Wasn't planning on seeing a dentist this weekend. Saw one anyway. Just had a tooth pulled.
It was $600 or $3,500 for the root canal and the crown.
For $3,500, I could fly to Mexico, have the dental work done and stay for a month.
I'm still numb and probably won't post after I start my pain meds.
Tooth fairy owes me $600.

Notified the neighbor about the guy trying to look in his window in the middle of the night.
He didn't know the guy.
He was concerned, mad, and grateful that I told him.
It will be interesting to see what he does to beef up his current security measures.
They have kids.
With #Obsidian, if your search results aren't working properly, open the settings, navigate to core plugins, find the search plugin, and toggle it off and then back on again.
Try your #search again.
It fixed it for me.
Yesterday, I got called a writing angel.
Today, someone told me I know everything about documentation.
๐
150 words are not long form.
I check the doorbell camera footage regularly.
At 1:10am, it caught a man walking around the corner, pausing at my neighbor's, looking down into the cart sitting under their window and then actively tried looking through the blinds into their living room.
I'm still trying to reach the neighbor.
My first Quran in Arabic arrived in the mail today.

In my possessions, I still have a Russian ruble with the number "2" in the corners and Stalin's face squarely in the middle.
My first Russian pen pal sent it to me in the late '80s, before communism fell in the USSR. He lived in Kyiv. Kyiv was still part of Russia then and spelled Kiev on the map.
It took six months to get a letter back from a pen pal in Russia. I was told all the incoming and outgoing mail was read and checked before passing it along. We had to be careful of what we said so the letters would be allowed through.
His family didn't have money, so it was considered a great feat for him to send it to me and for it to actually reach past the icy grip of Gorbachev's communism.
At least, to my teenage mind, it was.
I keep it because it reminds me that truly evil leaders can rise to power and have no qualms about killing their own people, that others live under oppressive regimes, and because it was a sacrifice for him to send.
When I last heard from him, he was 17. He had to serve the mandatory two years in the Russian army, and I never heard from him again.
That was almost 40 years ago.
Today, we see the oppressions manifesting in other ways with those in power many are too afraid to confront or discuss.
Going against the ones responsible for your paycheck and whether your family eats this week is scary unless you're able to build a way out.
All those people in that room applauding when and how they did, to me, looked like a bunch of trained seals at a circus, like the ones from the old cartoons.
I wonder what rewards they've been promised for good behavior.
I wonder when they'll realize it was all a lie.
The woman in the red dress.
Stalin.
Stalin's red dress: agendas and lies wrapped in polyester and diplomatic laundry.
Indeed.
