Is there a way to send sats out of the primal custodial wallet to an external lightning client? I only see the option to send to a nostr user. #asknostr

Here's a free idea for anyone willing to take this on. Somebody needs to do a news podcast where they read through terms of services and give the layman’s interpretation and recommendation what action should be taken. Or it should be a news segment in a podcast .

In the course of trying to explain the relationship between blockchain and Bitcoin, I came up with the following. Hopefully this is an accessible explanation. A blockchain is a chain of transaction blocks that are structured in a way that allows you to verify whether the transaction history is internally consistent. In order to make it as hard as possible to alter history, we need a strategy to agree on what which history is correct, called a consensus mechanism. Bitcoin secures its blockchain by using a consensus mechanism called proof of work, allowing it to come to agreement on which history is correct without a central authority.

Does anyone reading this have any friends, family, or people in your extended social network that live in Texas? I have a friend in the San Antonio area who keeps being pressured into a C section by her current doctor and is looking for a new OBGYN who is vbac proactive (vaginal birth). She has blue cross blue shield Texas and Cigna. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also if you can share or repost this to get more eyes on this, I would greatly appreciate it. #obgyn #women #childbirth

@Lyn Alden good morning! I loved your discussion of scalability on What Bitcoin Did podcast. What are your thoughts on the viability of the fedimints in hostile regulatory environment? I agree that from the end-user perspective that fedimints are appealing because of your points about surveillance and censorship risks being reduced. I can also see how evidence of reserves paired with neutral third parties within the multisig quorum can be used to mitigate rug risk. My concern is now for the custodian. The legal and regulatory risk seems too high to be worth it . The threat of being sued by mint participants suggests that an uncle Jim model of running one in your community would require setting up a business entity to shift liability. However, it seems that forming a business entity would open you to legal and regulatory risk from the government. On the other hand, if the custodian's identity is private even from the mint participants, then liability for the custodian is limited to the extent of their OPSEC. However, now we have reduced the extent of trust that can be conveyed to potential participants since we have removed the "punchability" factor that comes from knowing your community custodian in IRL. Reducing that need for trust gets us to something like a Mercury state chain making fedimint seemingly unworkable in a hostile regulatory environment.

Anyone else having issues accessing Primal wallet? I wanted to send sats to it for zapping but the wallet portion of the app is stuck in a loading loop. #asknostr

Anyone have any experience with using Habla, Yakihonne, or Blogstack for long-form blogs? I’m curious how they compare and people’s recommendations. #asknostr

Why do you want to be able to speak in Japanese? It’s because I want to have meaningful experiences with Japanese people. Of course, I could speak with them in English but there will be a slight distance between us. Depending on how comfortable they are with English, as they think about the appropriate response, it will be difficult for them to be in the moment. One the other hand, if I speak in Japanese, they can relax and enjoy the moment. My other reason for wanting to speak Japanese is because I want to experience thinking in another language besides my native tongue. #japanese #language #blog
