Just listened to @Natalie and Pierre on Coin Stories talk about #NYT and how they twisted the reality with their controversial artical on how #Bitcoin uses energy. Full of interesting facts and definitely worth listening! Hope the journalists who wrote the article will respond to her and come on the show. I would love to hear that. But that's not likely to happen.

People speculate how to bring more users to Nostr and expand the audience. I wonder what is it that makes the size of the audience even relevant? Why more is better? Is zero not enough? We unfortunately believe that what nobody hears or reads loses its relevance because our mind is continuously manipulating our reality. Not only should you be yourself and stand by your values when you are in the spotlight. Be YOURSELF even more so when nobody hears you or reads what you write.

The reason why we so often struggle to see the big picture is because we hardly ever get a break from the continuous whirling of our mind. In order to make good decisions about where you store your wealth or where you choose to live or what you decide to eat, you have to get shaken violently out of the chaos in your head. #Meditation is sufficiently violent because it requires you to (temporarily) murder your opinions and perception. There is nothing esoteric about it. It is not only for the people who are vegetarian or wear rudraksha beads. It is a brutal force of destruction that is completely invisible on the outside. When people look at you they don't know what you are doing in your head. The same way as they have no idea you own #BTC

Nostr reminds me of the good old days when Facebook was born and never bothered you with notifications, ads.. Now social media maxes out the efforts to suck you into the vortex of manipulative garbage which disguises it's toxicity only superficially. We know what this is about. The change might never come but the part of my Self which believes in humanity and the deepest understanding of the world feels the waves of excitement rippling through my mind when I re-experience this feeling of standing at the brink or something pure and meaningful. Something that will lead us to better future filled with clarity and purpose. #nostr is the way
