I chose college over trade school because that’s what everyone said was “the smart move.” Four years, debt, and a piece of paper later… I realized I traded time, money, and freedom for a system designed to keep me plugged in.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin was right there. I saw it in gaming chats, on forums—some dude tipping sats for skins or bragging about mining on his rig. I ignored it. Thought it was noise.
But that was the opportunity. Cheaper than lunch. A parallel system being born in real time, and I missed it chasing credentials.
They don’t teach you about opportunity cost in college. And they sure as hell don’t teach you about Bitcoin… at the moment.
