Amongst few things I learnt today during this mountain climbing winter challenge is: you need other people to succeed. Solitary you can go only as far as your boundaries allow you. 180m before the peak i sat down in the snow exhausted, my legs were shaking from the effort, I looked up watching rock, ice and snow and I said to myself this is it this is how much I can go. I will turn back and accept my decision. After 10 minutes I met an older man descending carefully. We exchanged the greeting and I asked: is it far? He said:no,15 min. I stood up and reached the peak. Solitude is weakness.
