Itβs good to go to a Bitcoin conference. Where people who vehemently disagree, throw comedic insults, owns, βhereβs where youβre wrongβ, and βfuck offβs at each other can also laugh, say cheers, and share a meal together.
Thereβs something to be said for being willing to stand in your beliefs of the right way (perhaps while being somewhat open to others) while also recognizing the greater special experience and point in time weβre in, along with whom youβre sharing the experience.
This one time I was traveling from Sicily to the US. Flight went through Amsterdam, and there was a mom and baby in the airport bar/restaurant with me. The bartender (gruff guy) happily held the baby while mom went outside to smoke. They were on a 24h + trip from Africa to the US.
I donβt know if many American airport bartenders (or mothers) would do this. I thought it was cool.
