I wouldn't put eschatology as less likely option. These psychopaths are fanatical, esoteric and outright into mind control of the masses. Same story since ancient Egypt. The priests are on other level: they profess the mind over matter. Though the public is taught that consciousness is an emergent property of the brain through school indoctrination and scientism. Did you notice how everyone wants to save #bitcoin? If it needed your little saving, it wouldn't be where it is.

Here's an update: key res level, above the line, bulls on parade. Don't forget about the summer solstice, money is esoteric, bottoms and peaks fall around these dates. image @umni as per your request View quoted note →

No matter what you say about Saylor, the guy is doing at least one thing right: a concentrated bet on something he believes will fuck all and become the dominant force to be reckoned with. Suckers talk about diversifying the risk, real Gs place a concentrated bet based on own deductions and do not chicken out halfway through by "diversifying the portfolio". image

Whenever you hear the phrase "diversify your risk", you gotta know that it means to just sit pat. For money is made by concentrated bets, sitting pat just means that you are waiting for the setup. The people saying that would be better off by just saying "buy treasuries and sit with that risk free rate".

You can’t ignore real-world purchasing power when talking about proof-of-work security. What makes a 51% attack economically prohibitive is the real-world cost of acquiring and operating enough hashpower to control the chain. Fiat price isn’t everything, but pretending it’s irrelevant misses an important part of the security model. View quoted note →

So much negatively charged energy towards #Lightning, makes one wonder "are the majority of so called bitcoiners just cheap bitches in disguise?" View quoted note →

The United States possessed an unusual nation-building advantage because American identity was capable of functioning as an ethnogenic identity: rather than requiring descent from a single historic ethnicity, the state could continually absorb heterogeneous populations and transform them, over generations, into a new national people. This gave the United States exceptional demographic, economic, and geopolitical capacity for expansion. View quoted note →

Monero's tail emission provides a permanent floor to miner revenue in #XMR terms, while its inflation rate continuously declines. If demand and price rise, the real security budget can grow even as the monetary cost of tail emission becomes progressively smaller relative to the network. Fiat is what others charge for shit we need. Good luck changing that. Convert the shit out of the entirety of the supply chain involved in the securing of the network. View quoted note →

It's because they need more and more resources to approach the efficiency frontier. It's like accelerating a particle to the speed of light: the closer you get, the smaller the step and the more resources needed. View quoted note →
