BlackRock's private credit fund, valued at $26 billion, received $1.2 billion in redemption requests this quarter. Investors wanted back 9.3% of their money. BlackRock said no. It limited redemptions to 5%. It paid out $620 million and blocked the rest. That means nearly HALF the people who wanted out couldn't get their money. And it's not just BlackRock.
