Americans hate privacy with a passion.

Americans say the US is dangerous because the NRA supports gun rights, but maybe the real threat is the ruling class who wants to ban guns so that the elites can fill their private prisons.

The US was a free country in 1980. The USA was not a free country in 2010.

I saw several American flags flown at half mast here in Nevada. Unsure as to the reason why but occurred to me our nations flag should remain at half staff as long as there is no US constitution.

Is there much difference between the elites who are destroying the US with wars, debt, and tyranny and the Americans who accept the wars, debt, and police state?

The Middle Class, where I live, has been eviscerated. Over the past five years, my monthly expenses have increased nearly $2,000. I’ve not changed anything. Same house, same car, same pretty much everything. Insurance, groceries, and literally everything else have just skyrocketed. (Example: took a friend to lunch. We both had BLTs. He had water. I had iced tea. The tab, with tip was $54. Going out for lunch used to be fun. Not any more!). That $2K used to be MY money.

If you said that the government was wiretapping your phone in 1999, everybody would have called you a nutjob. Now if you say that the government is wiretapping your phone, no one cares. How can Americans sleep at night now or look in a mirror without feeling disgusted and ashamed?

No. You don't get freedom by enlarging the police state. The answer to tyranny is not declare martial law. The answer to tyranny is to repeal the Patriot Act Legalizing churches doesn't mean church attendance is mandatary. The answer to bad reporting isn't closing newspapers. The answer to bad media coverage is to wait for the free market to provide better journalism.
