GM #nostr, get your coffee and love your family! Some morning thoughts. Two things to keep in mind and in perspective as sometimes it looks like the world goes kaboom in front of our eyes, the wokeness virus is crazier than ever, and objective truth is not esteemed as solid ground anymore. 1) God is in Control, Which is offensive to many because of the timeless question, "How can God allow bad things to happen?" 2) Nations, leaders, and peoples may want to "break" from God and plot against His plans, which will not run at the end at all. He has risen, and he will come back; there is the foundation of our Christian hope He said, "Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power. He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light." Daniel 2: 20-22 Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one. "Let us break their chains," they cry, "and free ourselves from slavery to God." But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Then in anger, he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury. For the Lord declares, "I have placed my chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, on my holy mountain."... "Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth! Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling." Psalm 2:1-6/10-11
Reflecting on Luke 12 and Riches, Possessions, and Relationship with God. May the latter be the one that guides our lives, and he will guide and provide our needs. "And he said to them, Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions..." " So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God..." "For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them..." "Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you..." "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
Three things I wish to know more on #nostr #nostrhelp 1) How to eliminate spam answers that show as soon as I post anything. 2) How to contribute to the Clients development with my sats? A portion of my #zaps goes to them already? I know infrastructure has a cost. @Vitor Pamplona 3) Relays, I heard about paying #relays to avoid spammy content? I have other questions for the comunity, but will wait till I try to figure them out for myself first.
"How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever they wanted to. You had to live -- did live, from habit that became instinct -- in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized". George Orwell,1984
It's a good feeling when you know the unseen parts of your #furniture looks as good as the front. Would love to see others #nostr #woodworking projects so please share and send #zaps their way if you like them!
