My Momma is 85 with dementia. Something small that makes her feel great, while she's lying in bed ready to go to sleep, is: Two cold water-drenched washcloths, one wrapped around the front of her neck and the other draped over her forehead, eyes, and nose (leaving nostrils exposed). It really calms her body.
