I pay for insurance, and yet in general I cannot go to a direct to consumer laboratory service for medical tests and use my insurance, at least not with any ease if at all. Meanwhile, I go to a doctor for my physical, get the cattle herd treatment as I’m shuffled through the stiles, all the while getting told my blood pressure readings at home don’t mean anything because my doctor’s bonus depends on getting a good reading in the office.
