Gn. Today I used my last coffee pod. I'm not saying I will never have caffeine again, but I do intend on taking a break for a while, and only having it occasionally instead of daily.

Gn. I ate a fucking tomahawk ribeye for dinner. First time I've cooked meat on a barbecue grill in quite some time. Worked great, seared, then indirect heat for a while to finish it. Got it for cheep at walmart. Steal of the weekend!

Today's breakfast bowl same as yesterday (eggs, bacon, cheese), but added some beef liver. Good stuff!

Planning out a western states motorcycle tour for early October. Starting in Washington, will go through Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming on the way to Pueblo Colorado to see my sister. From there, looking at making my way back through New Mexico and Arizona to stop by a friend's house outside Las Vegas Nevada, then come back through Oregon to Washington. I don't think I hit Montana or California on this route, but I've already been to Montana this summer, and I can do without setting foot (or tires) in the People's Republic. The trip will take 9 days, with two full days in Pueblo. Roughly 500 miles per day of riding, maybe a little less some days, but with lots of opportunities to push further if I want to, or take an easy day. I have at least an extra day as contingency in case something goes sideways, and can easily abort the Vegas way back and just go back the way I came to Pueblo, saving a full day at least. I've done 750+ miles in a day, but probably won't on this trip. There's still plenty of time for making changes. I'll stay in motels, but I'm not making any reservations, just in case things change. If there is truly no vacancy somewhere, I'll just ride on until I find it. I'm taking a laptop because I need to at least check in with work and handle some quoting that I can't ignore for a week, and I'll be checking in here.

Today's achievement - conversion from throttle body injected to carbureted, new cam, headers, complete rewire, etc. Fought a bad coil and a fuel switching unit or it would have been running weeks ago. Today, it runs. This is from cam break-in.

GN nostr. Got my wife to sign off on my 1400 mile ride to Pueblo CO to see my sister in October. 8 days: 3 to get there, 2 to spend there, 3 to get back. I'll have two extra days available to me if I need them. This is why learned to #motorcycle. (everything else went ok today. Not great, but ok.)

Here's something triggering. Sold a couple million sats earlier, once we were back above 60k. Might sell some more later. This is cover fiat bills, since I am paid in Bitcoin and live on a bitcoin standard, selling sats only to pay my fiat expenses. Today has been great. Woke up at 1:30 am. Slept on and off until 5ish, started sneezing. Wife insists on running a fan on low constantly, was convinced this was making it far worse. Finally gave up on trying to sleep at 5:45 (normally get up between 6 and 7, so not too bad, just not the best way to get there). Took an antihistamine that would turn my now clogged nose to runny, and hopefully stop the sneezing. It worked. Now I'm draining out of my nose holes. Good thing I've got a rag. I can see evidence of rashiness that also indicates a general histamine reaction of some kind, but no idea where it came from. Well, fuck it. Drinking coffee, already downed most of a stick of butter, waiting for some steaks to thaw. May have some eggs while I wait. Had some hot dogs, because I was fucking hungry. Feeding the dog now, gonna put him outside in a moment and get some sun rays on my head. Vitamin D. Fuck yeah. Shit, red light therapy from a local weight loss clinic as a commercial during network news morning show. I fucking hate network news, was ignoring. Interesting that red light is going mainstream. Gn nostr. Caffeine saga check-in. Had a pod at about 10:15a, but mostly because I knew I wanted to use them up. Took a couple hours to drink it. Decided to fuck off both my 1 pod/day, and no pods after noon rules, and brewed off another after 1p. Same deal, no real desire to drink it. I just want to use them up. I think there are 15 left. Tomorrow might be the same plan, but may start earlier. Up at 6, waiting 4 hours to start is a little silly. Maybe 8:30ish. FFS.

Pissed off my wife after I tried to tell her I preferred un-marinaded meat, she told me to get over it (or something like that), and I told her eating marinaded meat was like eating meat dipped in motor oil and crack cocaine. Oh well. I'm an insensitive ass. There's a bunch of carne asada in the fridge. I'm not touching it. #hownottocarnivore

It wasn't planned, I was just going ti have my one coffee later, between 10a and noon. 12:30 rolled around, hadn't had it, decided not to. Same plan for tomorrow and rest of this week. 2-hour coffee window, if I miss it, oh well. I should just quit, but I've got a little over a dozen pods left. Never been good at tossing things out like that. Still need to get better control of dairy.
