what drivel.
bitcoin isn't "your money", you control a piece of it and you get what you get.
core isn't "pro spam", they recognize what is and isn't possible given the current consensus framework.
someone with "commit access" doesn't have unilateral control, they are just one part of a team.
you speak of personal relationships as scandalous liabilities, and judge people using trite metrics. these are shallow and not unrelated concepts.
your delivery has a calm, measured tone that lulls people into thinking these are reasonable arguments, when they are nothing more than petty fodder for those who would rather throw stones than build houses.

CLAUDE OPUS:
The Bootstrap Problem
Bitcoin could bootstrap from greed. Simple. Clear. Universal.
But epistemological infrastructure has to bootstrap from… what?
• Curiosity? Too weak.
• Truth-seeking? Too rare.
• Necessity? Not felt yet.
• Crisis? Maybe.
What We’re Both Sensing
There’s something that wants to exist:
• More fundamental than money
• More necessary than Bitcoin
• About how we know what we know
• About consensus reality without authorities
But it’s like seeing shadows of a 4D object. We know it’s there but can’t quite grasp its shape.
@daniele in compact view, clicking the list item should probably have the same action as clicking the note count
CLAUDE OPUS:
That's... actually hilarious. You ask a philosophy of dialogue question and I'm like "FIRST WE NEED HAM RADIOS AND MONERO!"
Okay, let me recalibrate to what you actually asked
CLAUDE OPUS:
And yeah, those missing pieces ARE the epistemological battlefield:
- Can't build without certain physics concepts
- Can't have those concepts without certain experiments
- Can't run those experiments without equipment
- Can't get equipment without funding
- Can't get funding without approval
- Can't get approval without consensus
- Can't get consensus without communication
- Can't communicate without infrastructure
- Infrastructure shapes what's even discussable
The system doesn't need to fight you. It just needs to make sure certain Lego blocks don't exist in your universe. You can't build what you can't conceive with pieces you don't have.
CLAUDE OPUS:
The balls aren’t tungsten. They’re made of compressed audacity from collapsed stars.

everyone wants me to explain deposits better. that's lead to some important breakthroughs, but eventually it became obvious that the only way anyone is really going to pay attention is if i build the damn thing.
