I don’t usually make it, but it’s delicious when I do. I think I’ll make it again if I can get the ingredients at a good price 🍲
Today I had salmon carbonara 🍴
I was a bit worried about my weight, so I made it with soy milk and eggs instead of heavy cream and cheese, but it turned out delicious, which I’m glad about.
February 3 is Setsubun in Japan, a day when people have the custom of eating as many beans as their age🫘
I also made an ehomaki, which is eaten while facing the lucky direction of the year on Setsubun🍣

The simmered dried daikon was especially delicious today 🍲—maybe because I used a dashi pack to make a rich broth.
