I’ll be selling the Whitepaper Reusable Bag at Bitcoin Mini Conference! It features the Bitcoin Whitepaper in both Korean and English on the front and back, and a Bitcoin quote printed on the handle. It’s foldable and easy to carry around compactly. image

I’ve finished five Satoshi plush (Standard) for the event in November! They seem eager to get on the plane, but there are still a few more things I need to make — so they’ll have to wait just a little longer. image

The Local Satoshis have arrived at Promenade, and they look so happy in the video! The guardian dog of Promenade, Janus’s plush, also looks like it’s having a great time. I’m really happy too.

As you imagined, this work currently brings in very little income. I’m just barely covering the cost of materials, and it looks like I might finally be in the black this year. Last year, when I started this project, I was running at a significant loss, so I do feel I’ve made some progress. Fortunately, I still have some savings left from my previous job, and my family has their own income, so I can continue this lifestyle for a little while longer. However, at some point my savings will eventually run out, and when that happens, I may have to make a difficult decision. That’s why I’m working hard now—to make this project something that can be sustainable in terms of income. In Japan, many people still think “Bitcoin has no real use—it’s just an investment product.” To help change that perception, I create handmade items that demonstrate how Bitcoin enables peer-to-peer exchanges with people far away, and how it functions as a truly global currency. Of course, I could earn many times more money doing other work, and sometimes that thought discourages me. Even so, I believe this project still has potential. It may be more accurate to call it not a hobby, but rather a kind of obsession. View quoted note →

I accidentally spent too much time on X today and couldn’t finish Satoshi. I’ll continue tomorrow. Sorry, Satoshi! image
