I made some drawstring bags today for a certain purpose and worked on designing some fabric.
I have a lot of things planned to make this month, so I’m excited😊
Today I made chicken mizore-ni.
Mizore-ni is a dish where grated daikon radish is added and simmered; it’s seasoned with dashi and soy sauce, and it’s really delicious 🍲
I made Napolitan pasta today.
It’s a Japanese pasta dish with lots of ketchup, giving it a slightly sweet taste.
It’s a classic café menu in Japan, so I was surprised it’s not common overseas. 🍝
I sometimes see people say, “For payments, wouldn’t dollar stablecoins be better than Bitcoin?”
But I don’t think so.
People from Korea sometimes buy my goods, but in both Japan and Korea the dollar isn’t a familiar everyday currency, so I don’t feel much need to use it.
I also considered pricing my Satoshi plushies in Korean won. But then in Vietnam I’d need Vietnamese dong, and in South Africa rand… which would make management complicated.
That’s one reason I price many of my goods at 21,000 sats, and so far this method has worked well.
Today is the day the Satoshis set off on their journey.
They seem excited and can’t wait to arrive in Arusha, with Mount Kilimanjaro in view 🇹🇿🏔
Have a great trip, Satoshis!
Goods for the Bitcoin Hub in Tanzania are done! 🇹🇿
They feature an orange check pattern inspired by the Maasai shuka, and Satoshi wears a balaclava, referencing Arusha & Kilimanjaro 🏔
As BITCOIN ARUSHA collaborated with Trezor Academy, I made a Trezor pouch🧵
Tanzania – ARUSHA version of Satoshi: all five are now complete! 🇹🇿
In Arusha, with Mount Kilimanjaro in view, Satoshi is wearing a balaclava in preparation for climbing 🏔
They are dressed in orange outerwear inspired by traditional Maasai check patterns!
March 3rd is Hinamatsuri, so I made chirashi sushi.
Hinamatsuri is a traditional Japanese festival celebrating the health and happiness of girls.
I also bought hishimochi, a traditional sweet enjoyed on this day — it really makes me feel that spring has arrived 🌸
I made gyudon (Japanese beef bowl) today.
In Japan, there are many gyudon chain restaurants that are affordable, fast, and delicious, and gyudon is so popular that it can be considered one of the country’s national comfort foods🍚
