🚨🚨🚨 The regulators in the United States and the U.K & Europe are distracting you with theatre while the establishment tries to drive through the #RESTRICTact and The Online Safety Bill. This will be used to attack #Bitcoin in the future you can almost guarantee it. Bitcoiners are misdirecting their energy on CZ and the crypto casino too much. I get that these guys are an issue but our time preference teaches us to be more strategic because the establishment is playing chess and we’re playing checkers. I’m flagging risks with this in the U.K. to my representatives and I suggest you do the same if you’re in the US. I’ve been to China, spent a fair amount of time there. I’ve got a strategic brain… I spend a lot of my time thinking (sometimes overthinking things) but there really isn’t much to over think here. A key rule in trading is IF this THEN this. This isn’t about TikTok. I’m sorry but IF this bill and the UK Online Safety Bill are passed THEN democratic values are likely heading to the rear view mirror. You have to understand past actions, history and the way these types of things get interpreted to set future precedent. It’s naïveté of everyone to dismiss this as anything other than the western world, (that our grandparents fought for) collapsing to authoritarian ideology. Which btw you might think is fine if “your guy” or “your party” is in charge but unfortunately in a democracy others can get voted in… and with this power chaos can ensue. These acts put us on a path to a repeat a dark history as populism and fascism will rise faster with this in place. We knew this decade that democratic principles and values would be tested to extremes and so far 25% of the way in it’s clear we’re losing our way. Got to hope that policy makers and principled based politicians stay true to who we are. Don’t take my word for it… Read them yourself and play out different scenarios in the future. PV ☀️ Here’s how I’m talking about Bitcoin after thousands of hours researching and honing my opinion on it. Bitcoin is the Global Reserve Digital Commodity for the Digital Age. It’s just that the world hasn’t realised this yet. If you’ve done the work you will have already realised that Bitcoin is the perfect digital commodity that crosses the chasm of humanity’s two worlds… our physical world and our digital world. The base layer of BTC has so much more in common with the Global Reserve Physical Commodity which is Oil than it does the Global Reserve Currency, the United States Dollar (for now anyway). Once the world realises this, especially nations, #Bitcoin  will quickly permeate across society as it’s network expands rapidly into everyone’s lives and businesses which will then accelerate its role as a future currency (or foundation for currencies) across the world. In the not too distant future you will come to learn that nations, hopefully your nations HODL Bitcoin like their National Defence and Sovereignty depends on it, and much like they have Strategic Reserves of Oil today, they will have Strategic Reserve of Bitcoin tomorrow. Gm. What a weekend! Long discussions with plenty of friends over the weekend and disagreements but I stand by this view 👇🏼 India + Africa + Middle East (GCC) These are the absolute powerhouses of the next 10-20 years. While the US (and Europe) slows innovation through political shenanigans, tries to avoid bankruptcy & retain control over others, and China tries to save its economy in a de-globalised world the builders & growth hungry regions above will absolutely thrive. The GCC is leading the way and believe me when I tell you that India is booming with talent while Africa is beyond rich in resources. The new world order is not western or eastern as some want you to believe. They will be sidekicks of the above.

Certain senators in the US & the Fed’s shenanigans might have just 🍊💊 the entirety of Silicon Valley & the wider tech world. When the dust settles and the cogs start turning I think they might just realise the importance of #Bitcoin  specifically. There is no second best.

FTX ran a crypto ponzi & the founder was against Bitcoin $SB was a regulated TradFi bank that didn’t manage risk effectively with crypto deposits #Bitcoin is decentralised, permissionless money with no counter party risk. Bitcoin & crypto are not the same Tick tock next block

TradFi banks failing because of regulated practices such as lending out customer deposits & putting cash on hand into debt instruments for a yield is exactly why #Bitcoin  was created the way it was. Decentralised, permissionless & with no counter party (providing you hold your own keys). Lesson in here for all those regulation cheerleaders & Bitcoin critics.

A lot of emotional reactions out there today when it comes to Bitcoin’s price… that’s not to say the risk of a major credit event doesn’t exist but if you’re selling #Bitcoin because banks are failing & you’re not buying because there is credit event risk then you need to spend more time learning why BTC exists in the first place. This will settle any emotional responses you have unless you’ve been silly and over leveraged yourself. #plebchain
