I just participated in my first zapathon. It was weirdly therapeutic.

The branding of Primal and other performant clients are too "needy". It's trying to hard. They also reek of Twitter which is exactly what people are trying to get away from. The wave icon is very FIAT. Le Nostr is different so it shouldn't be trying to be or look like twitter, etc. We need to embrace our nerdy, fun little culture. We aren't going to go from 0 to full network effects in 1 year. Look at bitcoin's network effects' history. There are waves of adoption. E.G. "cryptoalphas" -> cypto enthusiasts -> black-market -> early tech professionals/retail -> retail speculation on instiutions -> nimble institutions. This is part of the reason I personally love the UI of astral.ninja. It's different in a very good, fun way. I especially like the the ordered list of my homies on the right, where I can sort to the top my ride-or-die homies, etc.

Getting ready to completely ditch Twitter.  My biggest hold-up is that there are still some important folks that are only active over there and not on the nostr. My temporary solution is to manually keep a folder bookmarks of their Nitter profiles. Does anyone have any possibly better ideas? [

Primal serves it's purpose and I'm happy its here, but I have fallen back in love with my original love: astral.ninja It just feels so friendly and fun.

Watching this live bitnodes map (along with coffee, black of course), is a great way to start the day.  Feels like we are all gonna make it my homies.

I'm wondering if Adam Back's X account was stolen or something.  He has always been much more collected, calm, rational.  Almost Godly so.  His account's latest conversations with the BSV crowd were pretty far out of charactor....

I'm back to using astral.ninja ...It's my first nostr love.   For some reason it is just much friendlier to me and less twittery.  I don't care if it takes longer to load initially.
